God never labors in vain.

Happy Labor Day!  I typically think of Labor Day as the ending of summer {waah}, but  Wikipedia describes it as "a celebration of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers... a yearly tribute to contributions workers have made to strength, prosperity, and well-being of their country."  America is a great country, but let us not forget who is our foundation for strength, prosperity, and well-being; it is God.  He gives us the talents for our achievements, so let us give Him thanks today for all labor he has done for us.

" Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.  Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain."  Psalm 127:1
